The Los Pumas 7s took on the South Africa sevens in the final of the Vancouver HSBC SVNS. Both teams were looking for their second win of the seasons, after winning Perth and Cape Town respectively. The Pumas took an early lead but the Blitzboks fought back hard in the second half, but in the end it was Argentina who lifted the trophy. The win put the Pumas on top of the 2024/25 standings and was their fourth consecutive triumph at BC Place.
