Armored Core 4 is a 2006 third-person shooter mech video game developed by FromSoftware for the PlayStation. The game is the twelfth entry in the Armored Core series.
The series has thus far explored the idea of mech warfare in a gone wrong world and it ruminates a lot on the nature of power.
In this game, the themes of the series are tunred on their heads, when it's revealed that a greater greater may exist in the unwinding of the forces which dominate the planet, than the forces which dominate the planet.
This is Hidetaka Miyazaki's first game as a Director.
