The first batch of indentured Indians arrived in South Africa in November 16, 1860. Today 16th November 2019 marks 159 Years since the first ship, Truro, anchored in Durban after a journey of more than a month. Onboard was the first group of about 342 people. This documentary was produced in 2010.
