There are a LOT of ways to scale your business... and some are actually easier than others! Or, I guess I should say they at least take less active work on your part. That's what I'm talking about today - Licensing. I'll explain some different ways to license your work, different ways to get paid for it and some factors to think about when negotiating your payout. I also share an example of a deal that I took and one that I turned down, and why. I hope this helps, and as always, please leave your questions in the comments so I can answer them there or in future videos!

If you're new here - welcome! I started my business on my 18th birthday selling paintings I made in my free time. I continued to run and grow it throughout college and graduate school, and into law school at Duke University. Now I'm running the business full time, law degree in hand, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I sell my art on my website, wholesale on Faire.com and I license my work to be sold in stores including Home Goods, Marshalls, At Home, and World Market.
