Meet Artem Korchagin, the 6’5” 315 lb starting junior center for Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, Ga. When he moved from Russia to the United States at the beginning of his freshman year, he spoke very little English, but quickly fit in as he adjusted to the culture of the South and football. Due to his determination and his intelligence, he quickly learned to speak English and learned the playbook! Artem is starting to get noticed by colleges including offers from Georgia State University, University of California, Berkley, Marshall University, and Duke University. This is his story.
