WQXR's Elliott Forrest caught up with American violinist and three-time Grammy Award winner, Hilary Hahn. They discuss her upcoming concerts with the New York Philharmonic, where she is a 2023–24 Artist-in-Residence.
On January 11-12th, she will perform Prokofiev’s dramatic Violin Concerto No. 1., Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra, and Coleridge-Taylor’s Ballade at David Geffen Hall. Jakub Hrůša conducts.
