In today’s tutorial, we’re diving back into the beautiful world of Arts & Crafts design to create a new William Morris-inspired wallpaper in Procreate. 🌿✨
This intermediate-level lesson will guide you through designing an elegant diamond/ogee repeat pattern, enhanced with a vintage wallpaper texture overlay using a handy template from my Arts & Crafts Style set, available on my Etsy store—but you’re welcome to go freehand for a truly personal touch!
The templates are a great starting point to spark your imagination. Use them to trace floral and leaf motifs, or turn off the template layer to craft a completely original design that’s all your own.

In terms of copyright and licensing, I remain the copyright holder for the motifs and the patterns I am making in the videos, but you have my permission to sell whatever patterns you make using them in places like Spoonflower or Redbubble AS LONG AS YOU’VE MADE IT YOUR OWN IN SOME WAY BY CHANGING THE, COLOURS AND FLORAL SHAPES ❤️
Artwork that is a straight up copy of this tutorial may not be used commercially.
Do bear in mind that you won’t be able to license it anywhere under any kind of exclusive terms because the motifs, the artwork within the patterns have been used first used here by me in this video and also will be used by multiple other artists as well as you and you could wind up in trouble if you’ve told your buyer they are buying an exclusive design and then they see those motifs in someone else’s art somewhere!
