Ashok Gehlot is a two-time Chief Minister of Rajasthan. He comes from a very humble background. Ashok Gehlot's father was a magician and he used to help his father in magic shows to earn money. Ashok Gehlot is a textbook example of a ‘dark horse’ in Indian Politics. He joined congress as a Sewa Dal volunteer and worked in Bangladeshi refugee camps. He won the 1980 Lok Sabha election from the Jodhpur Lok Sabha constituency.
