Hey everyone! Let's go on another historic journey around the world, this time with James Cook. In the late 18th century, he set off into uncharted territories not once, but three times. What makes his voyages so fascinating is the wealth of information that has survived to this day. Not only did Cook create detailed maps of coastlines and currents, but his expeditions also brought back news of the people they met on the way, including detailed sketches and diaries, often created with the help of local translators. Plus, of course, there are the many artefacts and objects that are still on display in museums across the world today.
