There are many satisfying sounds hidden in the tufting process. 👂 If you find a favorite sound, please let us know in the comments! ---------------------------------- 【Tufting shop&studio RUGMATAG　PROFILE】 RUGMATAGは、2021年11月に西日本初のタフティングスタジオとして誕生しました。 2022年3月には、大阪・森ノ宮に世界的にも珍しいタフティングショップとスタジオを併設するタフティング専門店をオープン。 日本国内の複数の老舗敷物会社の協力により、本格的なラグ（敷物）を製作するタフティングから、アートとしてのタフティングまで、幅広い提案を行っています。 また、大手百貨店の装飾品制作、アーティストやブランドとのコラボレーション、さらには海外のタフティングアート展示会への作品出展など、多岐にわたる活動を展開中です。 タフティングアーティストのサポートやタフティングコンテストの開催にも力を入れ、タフティングの魅力を広める取り組みに注力しています。 店名の由来 「RUGMATAG（ラグマタグ）」という名前は、初めて作ったラグを「もったいなくて踏めない」と感じ、思わずまたいでしまった体験から生まれました。 その瞬間の感動と喜びを、すべてのお客様と共有したいという想いが込められています。 [Tufting shop & studio RUGMATAG PROFILE] RUGMATAG was established in November 2021 as the first tufting studio in Western Japan. In March 2022, we opened a specialized tufting shop in Morinomiya, Osaka, featuring both a shop and studio - a rare combination globally. Through collaboration with several long-established Japanese carpet companies, we offer a wide range of proposals from professional rug making to artistic tufting. Our activities span across various fields, including creating decorative items for major department stores, collaborating with artists and brands, and exhibiting works at international tufting art exhibitions. We are also actively engaged in supporting tufting artists and organizing tufting contests, focusing on spreading the appeal of tufting. The name "RUGMATAG" originated from the experience of creating my very first rug and feeling, "It's too precious to step on," which led me to instinctively step over it instead.
