To the north of Cáceres, on the banks of the Tagus, there are extensive meadows with leafy holm oaks. Leonardo Bravo was in 1998 a veteran coal miner from this region. His son José Manuel helped him in some phases of the transformation of firewood into charcoal, in the same way that Leonardo collaborated with his father.
