The board in this video is in almost pristine condition. The ASUS hardware monitoring IC and ISA slots are free from corrosion, the back of the board is immaculate, and the serial ports are clear from rust. Since there is no need for much restoration, this project allows me to answer a question I have had for many years: Do we need to replace dated capacitors on motherboards even though they seem in good condition? I am sure there is no easy answer, but today, we will answer it for my six P2B motherboards from ASUS.
