Hello, so the idea was to build a Screwdriver Antenna Controller for the ATAS 120A as many people have this antenna but in order to use it you need a Yaesu radio, not an issue as the antenna is made for Yaesu radios.. however I wanted to use the ATAS with my Kenwood or Icom radios..as I have a ATAS and did not want to purchase the Tarheel antenna. £££. So began the search... Website: https://grimore.org/ham_radio/creating_an_atas-120a_controller Components used in this build 3 x 10U capacitor 5 x 100n capacitor 1 x 2.5A resetable fuse 1 x FINDER-34.51 relay (not used in the end) 1 x 100uH inductor 1 x 100K resistor (not used in the end) 1 x L7808 voltage regulator (8 Volt) 1 x L7812 voltage regulator (12 Volt) Hey why not look it up and see for yourself I'm not an expert on these matters just a guy that is giving it a go and sharing my experiences. Hope you enjoy... Just for fun Please subscribe and like. Cheers Mike - M0MSN P.S. do not take my word for it, give it a go for yourself.
