Time for the first performance modification to my wife's Audi S3! So excited to added a performance mod to the S3 and start making this sporty car faster and more fun! Love hearing the turbo sounds from the S3 and the extra bit of power. Today I install the MST Cold Air Intake on the 8V Audi S3 and I love the gains! This was a direct bolt on replacement from the stock intake and has much larger tubing and perfect fit. No more restrictions from the stock intake system and it adds a good amount of turbo and engine sounds. I also feel like the turbo spools up a bit smoother and has more initial power. Once I tune the S3 it will really come to life! This MST intake installation video is good for the 8V Audi S3 and MK7 VW Golf R and GTI. All the same engine and layout. I also hooked up my Torque App to read the intake air temperatures, and they were just like stock. So it's nice that the heat shield works like factory to deliver fresh air, rather than having an open air filter in the engine bay. Great first upgrade for sure on the Audi S3 and this was a super easy installation! Could be done in 20 minutes!
