Here we start the series whereby I check out Music computers, streamers , outboard linear power supplies, and all the other stuff that clutter the heck out of the rig. and send my HiFi OCD into orbit.
These things all range from the hundreds to $30K or more. My intent is to weed through the BS and get to the truth. Lets find out how these things stack up , shall we ?
Original rig ethernet cable plugged direct from router 50 feet away in other room 1:42
add Fidelizer Audiophile Modified Cisco switch 3:55
add Fidelizer Linear Power supply for Switch 7:25
add Fidelizer Linear Power Supply for Streamer 9:55
swap out basic ethernet cable w inakoustik Ethernet cable
between switch and Streamer 13:08
swap out inakoustik cable with VERASTARR cable 14:20
add sorbothane and wooden sphere isolation devices under streamer 18:48
Now the next day
Starting reference point. Should sound like the vid above. lets see if any changes happen during 2 different days and time of day. The rig is the same exact as it was in vid above 22:52
