Ingredients :
Marination :
3 medium size (500 gms) Pomfret-cut into slices (the total weight is after cutting & cleaning)
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder (haldi powder)
½ tsp Salt (or as per taste)
1 inch ball size Tamarind (imalee)
60 ml Warm Water (to soften the tamarind)
1 medium size (60 gms) Onion - roughly chopped
½ inch piece (10 gms) Ginger - roughly chopped
6 medium size (15 gms) Garlic
50 gms Grated Coconut
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder (haldi powder)
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds (sabut dhaniya)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (jeera)
¼ tsp Black Peppercorns (kali mirch)
7 to 8 large size Kashmiri Red Chillies
100 ml Water
Other Ingredients :
2 to 3 tbsp Coconut Oil (use as per your diet restrictions)
1 medium size (70 gms) Onion - Sliced
200 ml Water (used after rinsing the blender jar)
150 ml Coconut Milk (thin extract)
2 pinches Sugar (to balance out the flavors)
1 no Green Chilli (slit or punctured)
½ tsp Salt (or as per taste)
150 ml Coconut Milk (thick extract)
Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
Use Oil as per your diet restrictions
Use Chillies as per your spice preference
