In Bangladesh, the car industry is one of the fastest-growing industries. From 2011 through 2020, the number of passenger cars rose at a 5.43 percent CAGR, according to BRTA data. Only 2.5 out of every 1000 people own an automobile. Bangladesh's car industry is more developed than it was previously, although it has yet to reach the success that was envisioned. Import duty rules that consider hybrid and electric vehicles will lead to long-term growth. If the government places a greater emphasis on the vehicle assembly and manufacturing industry, we may see Bangladeshi-made automobiles meet the country's domestic demand one day.
