This video demonstrates how to make a fence gate with step by step instructions including three ways to make half-lap joints using different tools – pull saw, miter saw and circular saw. The gate is over 8 feet wide, making it large enough to drive a truck and trailer through. The gate also uses a wire fence rather than pickets, helping make it light weight by comparison.
