We needed to give the axolotl aquarium a big clean out and create a brand new aquascape. I wanted to open up the aquarium with less aquatic plants blocking the filter from doing its job, but have more caves for these little aquatic salamanders to hide in.
We stripped out the Vallis and replaced it with hardy Anubias and used some massive rounded slate to create some great hiding places.
