ভয়ের রাজ্য অচিনপুর, যেখানে হারিয়ে যায় বন্ধুরা পুরোণো সুরে, নতুন করে। একটা ব্যস্ত সপ্তাহ শেষে যখন শুরু হয় ছুটির আমেজ, ঘড়ির কাঁটা পেরিয়ে যায় দশটার ঘণ্টা, ঠিক তখনই অচিনপুর ডাক পাঠায়। একবার সেই রাজ্য ঘুরে এলে, সেই ডাক উপেক্ষা করার সাধ্য কারো নাই। অচিনপুরে দেখা হয় বন্ধুর সাথে, ঘুরে বেড়ায় চেনা-অচেনা কতো মুখ, কতো অবয়ব। তাদের কারো কারো চোখের দীপ্তি খসে পড়া তারার মতো কবেই নিভে গেছে। তারা নেই, তবু আছে অচিনপুরে। আছে ভয় তাদের অস্তিত্বের ছায়াপথ ধরে।
