Happy spring to all the northern hemisphere folks - and I hope wherever you are in the world, the sun is shining on you.
Many of you will be shocked that I have not managed to produce the first video in what I planned as an upcoming series to create a bedroom for a cotton mouse - I know, it is so out of character for me to promise more than I can deliver haha.
Instead, I decided to make the video I felt able to make - and one which I hope a lot of you might enjoy or be inspired by - for a long time I've looked for a vintage putz-style sheep in an antique shop but so far I've never run across one - and so yesterday I decided I would just see what happened if I tried to make one, or my version of one.
As usual, I struggled to keep things as short as I wanted and have not managed to edit out quite as much as I hoped I could without making it incoherent - or at least I hope I haven't made it incoherent but sometimes when I film and edit close together, I remember saying things on camera that I don't always include in the video but think I have. So I hope I've done this subject justice because putz sheep are a classic and I really hope a lot of people will want to try to make one :)
Thanks so much for your kind words on the last video - I plan to do another happy mail video next time - or maybe I'll put up a post and folks can reply to that.
I appreciate all your support and encouragement and I'm so thankful for this community of creative people. Happy making!
