Zaildar Thakar Singh Sodi of village Kotha Guru, District Bathinda adopted Charagh Din as a son after his real parents migrated to Pakistan in 1947 at the time of the India Pakistan partition. Later on, he was named Jagjit Singh. He spent 8 years with this Sikh family. The story is very interesting.
