In an instant, Hobart woman Sarah Paino’s life was tragically taken—but for the baby still growing inside her, the fight for survival had only just begun.
After dropping her partner Daniel off at Banjo’s Bakery around 1am, Sarah was just moments from home when a speeding car—allegedly stolen and driven by a 15-year-old—crashed into her vehicle.
At 32 weeks pregnant, her unborn child had a chance, but survival depended on a race against time. Every second counted.
