I recently got back from two weekends of early season backpacking in Yosemite. In this video learn what worked well and what did not.
The first weekend I hiked along the Pohono Trail from Tunnel View to Stanford Point. This weekend I tried cowboy camping for the first time and learned a lot! I will be doing that more as conditions allow.
The second weekend I hiked up the Yosemite Falls Trail and camped near the brink of the falls. That weekend the weather returned to full on winter conditions with temps below freezing and rain, snow and hail along with constant wind - I still had a blast.
The views were amazing along both trails 🏞️ I love Yosemite!
