We’re just days away from the launch date SpaceX originally announced, and the excitement is at an all-time high!
But hold on—are they really ready for this flight?
A recent post on X has sparked speculation that the launch could be delayed by three days, pushing it to Monday, March 3. Given the progress of the hardware and the approval process, this delay seems entirely possible.
And this then was confirmed by SpaceX on X: “Now targeting to launch Starship's eighth flight test as soon as Monday, March 3”.
On the hardware side, SpaceX recently moved B15 to the Launch Pad. Now, all eyes are on the movement of S34, followed by integration testing. These steps should have been completed by now if the February 28 launch date were still viable.

But here’s the issue—at the time I made this video, S34 had yet to move. Even more concerning, it hasn’t had its payloads installed, as there have been no images of this process. However, there is one promising sign: on the morning of February 26, the Ship transport stand was brought to the Mega Bay 2 door. This could indicate that S34 is about to move soon. The big question now is whether the payload will be installed before or after it arrives at the Launch Site.
