Hi friends! Hope you enjoy our DIY Chinchilla Cookie video! Below are time stamps, below that and written out general steps and ingredients for your convenience. Keep in mind you can do this pretty flexibly, adding oat flour and water as you mix to get the right dough consistency. This recipe makes about two bakings sheets worth of 1-2 inch cookies! Ingredients: 4 cups hay bits (about ~2 cups after grinding) 1 cup pellets ½ to ¾ cup oat flour (you may add more as you mix) ¼ cup dried hibiscus 1 & ½ tbs pumpkin puree (NOT pie filling) 1 cup water (may add more as you mix) Directions: Grind up your hay bits, pellets, and hibiscus as finely as possible Blend your water and pumpkin Mix all your ingredients by adding the liquid mixture a bit at a time You may need to add a bit more water and oat flour as you go to make it more of a dough consistency - this is fine! The water will bake out and the oat flour is safe! Once its formed, seal and refrigerate for about 2 hours Preheat oven to 200 Roll out dough to cut cookies, or just break off chunks and flatten into 1-2 inch pieces (Highly recommend a roller and using oat flour to help keep the dough from sticking) Bake for 3 hours, checking on them every now and then They should be super brittle but not burnt Let air dry overnight - we want all moisture gone Enjoy!! 00:00 - Start 00:16 - Equipment 00:42 - Ingredients 01:12 - Grinding 04:53 - Refrigerating 05:24 - Rolling 05:58 - Cookie Cutting 07:08 - Baking 07:31 - Air Drying 07:50 - Taste Test Don’t forget to join us on Patreon if you value our content, want to support us, and want tons of bonus content like BTS, polls, private lives, and of course, free gifts.
