Ready or not, we’re going on a full-day Bali adventure! From street food to experiencing the local life to crashing a wedding (kinda), it’s all in this travel vlog. We start off the day with a Balinese breakfast prepared by my host mother. Then my host father Jiwa, whom I hired to drive me around for the day, takes us off the beaten path. We get a peep into gamelan (traditional ensemble music) and condong (Balinese dance) practices.
On the way to eat Santan Kemangi (fried gurame fish with coconut milk and basil), we stop by the Puppet Shop where a craftman creates headdresses, costumes and more. At the water temple Tirta Empul, we get spiritual cleansing. Then soak in the view of rice terraces. Watch the video to see the eventful day unfold!
