বাঁশখালী ইকোপার্ক। এটি বাঁশখালী উপজেলার শীলকূপ ইউনিয়নে অবস্থিত। এটি উপজেলা সদর হতে ৫কিঃমিঃ দক্ষিণে অবস্থিত। এর আয়তন প্রায় ১০০০হেক্টর। এতে বামের ছড়া এবং ডানের ছড়া নামের ২টিসুবিশাল লেক আছে। এ দু’টি লেকের উপর দিয়ে পারাপারের জন্য আছে দু’টি নান্দনিক ঝুলন্ত ব্রীজ। থাকার জন্য আছে ১টি ভিভিআইপি মানের রেস্ট হাউজ এবং ১টি কটেজ। তাছাড়া আছে বেশ কয়েকটি রিফ্রেশমেন্ট কর্ণার। আছে ছোট একটি চিড়িয়াখানা। দর্শনার্থীর হাঁটার জন্য পাহাড়ী ঢালের উপর দিয়ে দীর্ঘ পাকা রাস্তা এবং বসার জন্য কিছু দুর পর পর চেয়ারএবং ছাউনিসহ চেয়ার পাতা আছে। এ পার্কে লেকের ধার ঘেঁষে আছে অসংখ্য ছোট বড় পাহাড় যা ঘণ জঙ্গলে ঢাকা। জঙ্গলে হাতি, বানর, হনুমান, হরিণ, বনমোরগ, সজারু ইত্যাদি বিচরণ করতে দেখা যায়।লেকের পানিতে শীতকালে অসংখ্য অতিথি পাখি এসে ভীড় করলে নয়নাভিরাম নৈসর্গিক সৌন্দর্য ভ্রমণকারীদের মোহিত করে।
কিভাবে আসবেন : চট্টগ্রাম এবং চট্টগ্রাম এর বাহির থেকে আসতে চাইলে সর্বপ্রথম শাহ্ আমানত সেতু হয়ে মইজ্জার টেক হয়ে বাঁশখালী উপজেলা আসতে হবে তারপর সেখান থেকে জলদি উপজেলা আসলে সেখান থেকে ইকোপার্ক এর উদ্দেশ্যে কিছু লোকাল অটো রিকশা পাবেন আর সেভাবে আসতে পারেন অথবা আপনারা চাইলে নতুন ব্রীজ বা শাহ আমানত সেতু সংলগ্ন বাস স্ট্যান্ড হতে সরাসরি বাশখালী এর বাস পাবেন ভাড়া ১১০৳ থেকে ১২০৳ এর মধ্যে পরবে।
কোথায় থাকবেন এবং কি খাবেন: বাঁশখালী উপজেলাতে কিছু কম খরচের মধ্যে হোটেল ও বোডিং পাওয়া যায়,,, তবে যদি একটু কোয়ালিটি সম্পন্ন রিসোর্টে থাকতে চান তাহলে ইকোপার্ক এর ভিতরে ঐরাবত রেস্টহাউজ এ থাকতে পারবেন,,, সেক্ষেত্রে খরচ একটু বেশি পড়বে আর খাওয়া-দাওয়া এর জন্য এখানে বেশ কিছু রেস্টুরেন্ট রয়েছে মোটামুটি মানসম্মত কিন্তু আমি ব্যাক্তিগত ভাবে পরামর্শ দিবো বাসা থেকে রান্না করা খাবার নিয়ে আসার জন্য
(Banshkhali Ecopark. It is located in Shilkup Union of Banshkhali Upazila. It is located 5 km south of the upazila headquarters. Its area is about 1000 hectares. It has 2 huge lakes named Bamner Chha and Daner Chha. There are two beautiful hanging bridges to cross over these two lakes. There is 1 VVIP quality rest house and 1 cottage for accommodation. Apart from that, there are several refreshment corners. There is a small zoo. There is a long paved road on the hill slope for visitors to walk and there are chairs and benches with canopies for sitting. There are numerous small and big hills along the lake in this park which are covered in dense forest. Elephants, monkeys, Hanuman, deer, forest roosters, porcupines, etc. can be seen roaming in the forest. When numerous guest birds flock to the lake water in winter, the stunning natural beauty captivates travelers.
How to come: If you want to come from Chittagong and outside Chittagong, you will first have to come to Banshkhali upazila via Shah Amanat Bridge and Moijjar Tech, then from there, as soon as you reach the upazila, you will get some local auto rickshaws for Ecopark and you can come that way or if you want, you can get a bus to Bashkhali directly from the bus stand adjacent to the new bridge or Shah Amanat Bridge. The fare will be between 110 ৳ and 120 ৳.
Where to stay and what to eat: There are some cheap hotels and boarding houses available in Banshkhali Upazila,,, but if you want to stay in a quality resort, you can stay at Airabat Rest House inside Ecopark,,, in that case the cost will be a little higher and for food and drink, there are several restaurants here that are fairly standard but I would personally advise you to bring home-cooked food.)
