In this exciting Barn Find episode of Old Skull Garage, I’ve unearthed a true classic: a 1972 Triumph Dolomite 1850, one of the earliest production models. This iconic British sedan has been off the road since 1990, making it 34 years since it last roared to life. Even better, I bought it for just £700, making it possibly the cheapest Triumph Dolomite out there!
This episode is all about bringing this forgotten beauty back to life. Over two challenging days, I worked to overcome corroded wires, a non-functioning ignition system, and plenty of other issues to try and get the engine to fire up. With the key not working, it turned into a mission to get the car running, even if only briefly. Will the Dolomite come back to life? You’ll have to watch and find out!
