In this refrigeration video, we discuss the process of air defrosting. Typically, air defrost can only occur when the box temperature is above thirty-four degrees. If the box temperature is set below thirty-four, there won't be sufficient heat in the air to defrost the frost accumulated on the evaporator during its refrigeration cycle, which is responsible for extracting heat from the box.
