Battle of the Residential Front End Loaders? Not Really. Well, sort of.
Decades ago small tractors were made of much stronger steel. These days tractor frames are made from thin gauge steel. A true garden tractor can't be found unless you restore one from the 1960's thru 80's or you pay big bucks to one of the few manufacturers that still make a true garden tractor. These true garden tractors were / are a perfect platform for building loaders on them.
Due to cost limitations, many people have decided to convert a riding mower into a front end loader. But these newer mower tractors are made from thinner guage steel. To operate a front loader on one of these light duty tractors takes an awareness of the tractor's limitations. In this video I hope to help out in this area.
