The story of every international student, Diego finds himself overwhelmed with new experiences and people when he travels to Utrecht, the Netherlands, to study. He struggles to make friends or connect with this radically new place, but realizes that even though its hard, it can also be rewarding. With the help of friends and his loving mother, he finally gets comfortable and happy with his new life abroad.
This movie is my directorial debut into feature films, and was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. I wrote, directed, starred, and edited this movie, and I cannot be prouder of my baby. The production had a few issues (cast and crew quitting last minute with no warning), but I never let them stop from compromising the quality that I am able to put into this. I want to thank each and every single person who helped make this film a reality, including all those who reviewed the script and just gave words of encouragement. I cannot be grateful enough, and it truly takes a village to create something like this.
