If you haven't heard the big news, Oliver and Beauty are expecting their VERY FIRST FOAL!!!! Their foal will arrive fall 2025 and to say we are excited is an understatement!!! This is Beauty's first "PREGNANCY PROGRESS" video. We have decided to do a monthly check in to track her progress as she grows bigger and bigger over the next couple months. We will do a weigh in and belly measurements leading up to the birth.
Oliver is a 3 year old registered Clydesdale stallion we rescued two years back. He was on the brink of death, consumed by a neurological disease called EMP. We first saw him at a local auction and bid on him, but we did not win the bid. Weeks later he was still on our hearts and with encouragement from everyone on our channel we reached out, looking for him. We found him hours away from us but decided we would make the trip to go get him! By the grace of God and the outpouring love from you, Oliver has made a miraculous recovery and is living his BEST LIFE. Having his first foal is a miracle in itself. What a blessing!
Beauty hasn't been with us long, coming to us fall 2024. She is a 5 year old, registered Clydesdale mare. Beauty is a maiden mare, meaning she has never had a foal before. We were potentially looking for Clydesdale mare as a partner for Oliver in pulling and to breed this year but had not found the right one, so we pretty much given up looking, thinking it wasn't meant to be. But, when a friend reached out, needing to find Beauty and an older mare (Luna) a home. Long story short Beauty now resides at Homestead Horsemanship and is blessing us with Oliver's first foal!
