I lime-washed our bedroom!!! 🥰✨
This took a couple of days but the results are so worth it!! 🥰🥰
Here are some of my lesson learns:
* Don’t worry in the beginning if it looks too dark (it will lighten as it dries).
* Don’t worry when it looks too busy/blotchy. The more coats you do, the more even the tone gets.
* Careful not to do too many coats too. The paint will look too uniform and you will lose some of the limewash look.
* Different paint consistency yields different shade. The thicker the lighter, the runnier, the darker. This will take a little trial and error to figure out what’s the perfect consistency and how much to put on your brush.
* The darker paint shade your pick, the more potential contrast there is (light vs dark), so it will be a little trickier to have it looking more blended and less blotchy. If you pick a lighter shade than me, I think the whole limewash process will be even easier!
