He’s always been a star and showed great promise, but many didn’t think he had enough to actually be a legit title contender in the UFC. Especially in this stacked lightweight division. Fight by fight he’s proved the doubters wrong, and other than the dip in his story thus far against Jared Gordon, he’s showed immense improvements, and now after dominating Michael Chandler at UFC 314, he’s ready for the top 5. Paddy has proven to be not only elite on the mic, but in every way inside the cage. A lethal combination of skill and charisma that seems to be the future of the UFC.
