Video Not Working? Fix It Now

A step-by-step beginner video on how to set up a simple threaded-in tablet weaving pattern on the loom, read a pattern, and start weaving. Pause as needed at each step to weave along with this video. Thanks for your patience, this video took a backseat for over a month due to several pet emergencies, then another couple of weeks sorting out technical difficulties exporting and uploading the video. Learning Objectives: -How to set up following a threading chart -How to start weaving -Follow a simple turning pattern -Try different turning variations This is my twist-neutral variation on the historical Oseberg band. Any size will do. The bigger your yarn, the bigger your finished band will be. ⭐️10 Cards/tablets-store bought or homemade are fine. I frequently use cards made from poker cards. ⭐️Warp spacers-I use popsicle sticks, but toothpicks, pencils, or pieces of stiff cardboard will also work. ⭐️Card holder-I use a knitting stitch holder, or a pencil or knitting needle with a rubber band will also work. I’ve also tied it with a piece of yarn if I need to, just to keep the cards from falling and twisting out of place. ⭐️Scissors SOURCES: Original Oseberg History: https://www.shelaghlewins.com/tablet_weaving/Oseberg_narrow/Oseberg_narrow.pdf Forward-Only Variation: https://leoninelearnings.wordpress.com/2016/08/15/tablet-weaving-oseberg-inspired-01-largess/ TIME STAMPS: 0:00 Intro 1:00 Materials 1:38 Setup: Border Cards 1-3 6:50 Pattern Cards 4-7 9:39 Border Cards 8-10 11:18 Tension and Double Check 13:28 Start Weaving Picks 1-8 19:16 Twist Buildup, Backwards Picks 9-16 22:56 Advancing, Keeping Your Place Picks 17-24 27:08 Edges Forward Only Picks 25-40 31:20 Edge and Bump Management 33:51 Turn Variation 16 Picks 36:17 Pausing Work 37:15 The Kitty Reel ft.
