This is a sequel to the first documentary titled “Behind the Uniform: A Look Inside the Cincinnati Fire Department”, which followed the professionals on they’re day to day shifts.
Not only is the Cincinnati Fire Department the first professionally paid fire department in the nation, it has also been named the best. But why are they the best? Why is the program so competitive? What makes a Cincinnati Firefighter?
Through the course of this documentary, we’ll see the emotional and physical stress each recruit must face. By training them using a “crawl, walk, run” method, they are taken step by step through each process and procedure that they must follow during a fire or run. Why are these things important?
We’ll learn the process of how they do things as well as see how the group class comes together as a family and pushes each other forward.
