I've recently bought this Behringer TD-3 Modded Out version and I love it! Here is a quick overview of how it works, as the manual isn't very extensive.
The 303 sequencer is unique in a sense that you enter pitch and gate data separately, similar to modular synthesis. This workflow makes it easy to come up with semi-random patterns.
