Alpiner Zustieg zur Lämmerenhütte (2507 m). Startort ist Leukerbad Bus-Terminal (Wallis, Schweiz). Der Aufstieg erfolgt zu Fuss auf dem alten Säumerweg (statt mit der Seilbahn) hinauf zum Gemmipass. Ab hier weiter via Lämmerenboden zur Lämmerenhütte. Die ersten 900 Höhenmeter bis Gemmipass sind anspruchsvoll (T3/T2), die Route ist gut ausgebaut und gesichert. Der Weg über den Lämmerenboden ist flach, dann aber folgt ein steiler Abschnitt bis zur Hütte. Auf einem Variantenweg geht es zurück bis zur Bergstation Gemmi.
