CHRISTMAS 2024 - Inala is one of those places to see LIFERS! If you're a birder, then a few days staying at Inala on Bruny Island definitely needs to be on your bucket list! Inala Nature Reserve is home to many of Tasmania's endemic birds such as the Forty-spotted Pardalote, Strong-billed Honeyeater & Dusky Robin. But there is so much more to see! Pademelons, Velvet-furred rats, Antechinus & Tasmanian Short-beaked Echidnas were such a thrill to see! We went on a morning 3 hour tour of the property. This was organised in advance & costs $195 per person. Bookings are made online through the Inala Nature Reserve. We stayed 3 nights in Inala Cottage. It was a 3 bedroom house and was perfect for our trip! The Jurassic garden was right outside the door and the Pardalote platform was a few metres away down the track. If you're a keen birder, then you'll love this cottage!!
