Here's a video to sum up the 2022 RallyLegend with some of the best sounding rally cars, powerslides, burnouts and starts my friends @Italiansupercarvideo, @MattyB727 and I recorded during the last weekend. Compared to last year, the weather was on our side. For the 20th edition of the famous event held in San Marino, important and famous rally drivers were there such as the new WRC champion Kalle Rovanperä, Toyota GR WRT's team principal Jari-Matti Latvala, Markku Alen and Miki Biasion. It was also great seeing Jimmy McRae, Colin's father, at the wheel of one of the new Subaru Impreza GC8 555 cars by 'Best', called Best Impreza McRae Edition. Entry list was full of other important Italian rally drivers from the present and past, plus the usual crazy entertainers such as Paolo Diana with his Fiat 131 Racing Proto and Frank Kelly in his Ford Escort Mk2 'Baby Blue'. Honorable mention to the two Audi S1 EKS Rally Cross supercars,driven by Ole Christian Veiby and Per-Gunnar "PG" Andersson, for the incredible show offered!
All the entries are generally divided into 3 groups (plus a 4th for the regularity rally):
- the one of the opening cars, which includes all those entertainers driving sideways and burning some rubber.
- the one called 'Legend Stars' which is a sort of group reserved to those who want to just do the stages in a 'relaxed' way. It's a sort of parade and generally you can find the most beautiful and particular cars in it.
- the actual competitive rally where most of the old and modern WRC, Group A and Group N cars are included.
