McRib-ish Sandwiches recipe:
1 slab pork ribs, membrane removed and slab cut in half
dry rub of your choice (ours has brown sugar, garlic powder, chipotle chili powder, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper)
1/2 cup water
BBQ sauce of your choice
Rub both sides of the ribs with the dry rub and place in a slow cooker. Add water to the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours. Once done, remove the ribs from the slow cooker and carefully remove the bones and all hard pieces. Chop into fine bits of meat. Add to a bowl along with BBQ sauce and mix together. Place meat mixture on baking sheet lined with alumninum foil and place under the broiler for 5-10 minutes (just keep an eye on it. You want it to lightly carmelize on top). Remove from the oven and put on hoagie rolls!
