As always, there are many different ways to reach the same conclusion, and it is very apparent that different people, in different parts of the world, learn different methods of construction - and that's OK!
It just goes to show, it's all the same in the end :-)
As always, when you are trying something new, practice on test fabric. You don't need to make the whole garment if you are practicing one specific bit. Practice that bit!
