DJI is well known for making drones and wireless microphones and I’ve been their products for years. did you know they also make portable power stations? DJI has their DJI POWER line, and they sent me their latest Power 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger to test.
This charger is specifically designed for charging the DJI Power 1000 via a vehicle’s alternator or solar panels ( or both ). In this video I unbox it, test and give my initial thoughts
DJI version is the best yet power station alternator charger I’ve yet seen ( whilst these styles of charges are usually exclusive to the brand of power station so direct comparison isn’t necessarily accurate )  well this model is slightly less powerful than some others on the market it’s fully automated bi-directional  aspects make it the best version yet.
“Best yet” is difficult though since usually there’s only one alternator charge per brand of pwer station and there is always going to be the best for their specific ecosystem

• Solar Charging: Up to 1,200W
• Max Charge Rate: 1,800W (when using a Power 1000 with a 2000 expansion battery)
• Power 1000 Standalone Limit: 1,200W max charging
• Dual Input Flexibility: The vehicle input can also be used for solar charging when needed
Fast direct vehicle charging is a bonus for off-grid power, van life, and overlanding for those using DJI Power system as their primary system. Even with added reverse charging features as well.
