I'm excited to race my first Boston Marathon on April 21st, 2025. After a breakthrough year in 2024 where I made my first Olympic team and placed top 10 in the world, I have big goals for 2025. Follow along as I share my journey in an eight-part docuseries highlighting my build to the Boston Marathon.
Episode 1 follows my journey 14 weeks out from Boston. It gives a look into my first tune-up race of the marathon build, the Houston Half Marathon. With big names like Joe Klecker and my training partner, Conner Mantz, calling their shot to break the American Record, I decided to throw my hat in the ring only two weeks out from the race. I told myself if I could set my ego aside and have a shot to be part of one of the greatest half marathon races in American history it would be worth it.
To be honest, the race was tough! I got dropped early from the lead pack, but rallied near the end to place 10th with a new personal best of 1 hour and 52 seconds. I’ve got some work to do, but I am in a good spot 13 weeks out!
