In John 16:12–13, Jesus said, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.”
Jesus tells us that when He returns in the last days, He will express many more truths and guide people into all truths. Those who gain these truths will be fully saved, fulfilling their hope of entering heaven and receiving blessings.
Some might ask, “If the Lord will directly take us to heaven when He returns, why do we need to enter into these truths?”
This question is crucial.
When the Lord Jesus first walked among people, He preached everywhere, teaching them to repent, to love God and others as themselves, to be honest, and to show tolerance, patience, and forgive others seventy times seven. These truths taught people how to live as humans, but they couldn’t purify their sins.
God wanted to reveal many truths to humanity, but their infantile stature made them incapable of understanding. Only 2,000 years later, when Jesus returns, are all truths fully disclosed to mankind.
These truths include all the mysteries in the Bible that people do not understand, the path to resolve various sins, who God will lead into heaven and who will descend into hell, as well as what life will be like after entering heaven, and more. When these truths become one’s life, a person can overcome Satan, sin, the world, all evil forces, and death, becoming an overcomer who ultimately enters heaven and receives imperishable life, living forever in God’s blessings.
What happens if we fail to gain these truths?
We will remain trapped in sin, never attain purification, and will not be eligible to enter the kingdom of heaven.
When God publicly descends on the clouds, He may say to you, “Depart from Me!” and you will be doomed to disaster, crying and grinding your teeth.
