Part 7 - The Outer Hebrides, North Uist and South Uist

Our 6 week motorhome tour of England, Scotland and Wales continues with a visit to the Outer Hebrides. In this episode we spend 5 days on the Islands of North Uist and South Uist, taking in a few boggy walks, some wet feet and many glorious beach walks (and we are not usually beach people!). We visit a Neolithic Cairn, a stone circle and a Bronze Age roundhouse and are really enjoying the remoteness of these Islands. Mandy has some trouble with her pronunciation, it's not brain fog - it's just not being good with languages! It's been a great adventure to get to this point!
Thank you for joining us!

"The Van" is a McLouis Fusion 331 (we haven't named it yet, and might not!!) and it is just the perfect size for the two of us on the road.

This 6 week trip is a bit of a vanlife taster for us, we've only had the van for a few months and never been away in it for more than 3 nights at a time - before this big adventure. We had no idea if we'd make it, if we'd get on each others nerves or be pinning for our little luxuries!!

This is the next chapter of our life together and we are very excited about all the places we can go!
We are still settling into the Van and are still finding our way with what we need, but starting to settle in. Navigating the space, the issues, the fixes and everything else that newbie motorhomers get to deal with.
