The human cities and settlements in the grim darkness of the galaxy are as varied as the countless stars in the void. With the Imperium encompassing more than a million worlds, each planet’s unique culture, environment, and purpose shape its cities, resulting in an unimaginable diversity of human habitation. The types of worlds within the Imperium strongly influence the architecture, layout, and character of their settlements, leading to staggering contrasts between the living conditions and lifestyles across the galaxy. For example, Feudal Worlds mirror the cultural and technological characteristics of Terra during the Late Middle Ages or Renaissance. Feral Worlds are even more primitive, populated by nomadic hunter-gatherers or tribal societies that struggle against harsh environments and predatory fauna. Forge Worlds, governed by the Adeptus Mechanicus, are industrial juggernauts entirely covered by sprawling manufactoria—massive factory complexes that churn out the weapons, vehicles, and war machines essential to the Imperium's survival. Hive Worlds are the most populous planets in the Imperium, with each one housing billions, sometimes hundreds of billions of people. These planets are dominated by colossal hive cities, vast urban megastructures that stretch from the planet’s surface high into the atmosphere and also horizontally. So here in this video we will dive into the biggest Imperial cities, manufactoria and habitations in the galaxy. Lets get to them
