Today, we take a look inside this Abandoned $40,000,000 mega mansion. Sitting in one of Canada's richest neighbourhoods, this massive 20,000-square-foot home is next door to rapper Drake.
The original owner made his fortune after purchasing a small firelog company in New Brunswick. The young entrepreneur saw scope for growth through innovation and pioneered convenient fire logs crafted from sawdust and wax, a departure from labour-intensive woodcutting practices. A quarter century later, it had captured almost all of the Canadian market and three-quarters of the US market. During the rise of his business, his enterprises diversified into manufacturing glue sticks, stationery tapes, and mailing supplies. When the Time was right, he sold his fire log business leaving his other ventures to his children to run.
Today, the once-opulent mansion is a stark reminder of his wealth and success. Only built 20 years ago, it will be demolished to make way for a new, bigger mansion.
