Bitmap Trace and Node Editing – A Quicker Approach More down here ↓↓↓ Click SHOW MORE! In this video I’ll demonstrate and discuss some of the processes for tracing a bitmap image, and using Node Editing Mode to clean up that tracing in Vectric Cut2D Desktop, Cut2D Pro, VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro, and Aspire. I’ll show you some of the things to watch out for when using an SVG file, and show you why I decided to trace a bitmap rather than use the SVG file. I’ll give you a few tips on bitmap tracing that I haven’t mentioned previously. Then I’ll show you how to get in and edit the vectors in Node Editing Mode, demonstrating how to turn angular, faceted shapes into smooth, more organic looking vectors. I’ll also show you different methods of selecting points, some of the things to watch out for when using these methods, and how to use them sparingly. As usual, if you have any comments or questions about anything I covered in this video, please join me for the Live Q&A, or put ‘em in the comment section below. On Sunday, January 16th, I’ll be hosting a LIVE Q&A session, where you can ask your questions pertaining to anything I’ve covered in this video. That Q&A starts at 3 pm Eastern time, Noon Pacific time. Hope to see you there!
